Archiving
The Journal of Applied Science and Advanced Engineering (JASAE) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content. To support digital preservation, JASAE may participate in recognized archiving systems and preservation networks, including the PKP Preservation Network (PN), LOCKSS, and CLOCKSS, where applicable.
The PKP Preservation Network (PN) provides preservation services for journals using Open Journal Systems (OJS), helping ensure that published content remains accessible over time. Through this network, journal content can be preserved in a distributed digital archive.
JASAE also supports preservation through systems such as LOCKSS and CLOCKSS. These systems are designed to create secure, distributed copies of journal content across multiple participating libraries and archive nodes. This approach helps protect scholarly articles from data loss, technical failure, website disruption, or discontinuation of journal access.
By implementing digital archiving practices, JASAE aims to maintain the integrity, durability, and accessibility of its published articles for readers, authors, researchers, and the wider academic community.
